The United States Senate gaveled back into session on Tuesday after its annual monthlong August recess. Earlier today, we caught up with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) who says she’s got no update to report.
“I’ve got to follow up on getting the meetings. I don't know what happened to the requests for meetings with the whistleblowers, but I don't know where it is right now so I gotta find out,” Gillibrand tells Ask a Pol. “Just have to get things on the schedule.”
The House of Representatives is still on its recess until next week.
