How do you think this month’s public House UAP hearing went?

Key Burlison: 

“I thought it was good. You know, we got more witnesses to come forward. They all have very reputable backgrounds. I think that underscores what has already been said by [UFO whistleblower David] Grusch and some of the other pilots that testified,” Rep. Eric Burlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “I'm going to pour over the documents that were released from the Immaculate Constellation, but, like, in just first blush, it appears that there's nothing new, other than the fact that you're getting a report that is supposedly being worked on by somebody in the Pentagon.”

“The Trump Administration is going to be very transparent. I think that the disclosure is the name of the game when it comes to Trump. He’s already talked about the Kennedy files — making all of it released. He’s talked about getting the Jeffrey Epstein list out there,” Burlison tells us. “There’s a lot of key people that will have Trump's ear that are all for UAP disclosure.”

SCENE: Rep. Burlison’s walking across the grounds of the US Capitol after voting when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo catches up to him.

Matt Laslo: “How’d that hearing go last week?”

Eric Burlison: “Weren't you there?”

ML: “Yeah, but I want your opinion on it.”

EB: “I thought it was good. You know, we got more witnesses to come forward. They all have very reputable backgrounds.”

EB: “I think that underscores what has already been said by Grusch and some of the other pilots that testified. So…”

ML: “Do you think we got anything new there? Any new leads on where...”

EB: “I have — I'm going to pour over the documents that were released from the Immaculate Constellation.”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “But like in just first, first blush, it appears that there's nothing new…”

ML: “Yeah.”

EB: “…other than the fact that you're getting a report that is supposedly being worked on by somebody in the Pentagon.”

ML: “In the New Year, where does this investigation go? Or is it gonna be working with the Trump Administration?”

EB: “I think the Trump Administration is going to be very transparent. I think that the disclosure is the name of the game when it comes to Trump. He’s already talked about the Kennedy files — making all of it released. He’s talked about getting the Jeffrey Epstein list out there. So I think that you got Matt Gaetz now as the AG.”

Gaetz has since withdrawn his nomination.

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “You've got Marco Rubio, Secretary of State. There’s a lot of key people that will have Trump's ear that are all for UAP disclosure.”

ML: “Know much control do you think the Attorney General's office would have over something like this? Because it’s, like, so siloed.”

EB: “Gaetz, for example, would be the one that would prosecute a whistleblower, right?”

ML: “Yeah?”

EB: “So, if, if somebody...”

ML: “Matt Gaetz might also lock my ass up. First chance he gets — me and my colleagues.”

EB: “No, no he wouldn't.”

ML: “Depends on the day of the week. He always loved my drug coverage but always hated my Daily Beast coverage of his sexual dalliances.”

EB: “I'll stay out of that.”

ML: “Right? Wise man, wise man.”

EB: “Good to see you.”

ML: “Hey, good to see you as well.”
