We asked Senate Intelligence Chair Mark Warner for clarity on a, seemingly, non-existent Senate investigation into UAP’s.
“It sounds like you aren’t actively doing an investigation?” Ask a Pol asks.
“No, but we have had, you know, people that are interested in this topic have come forward to the committee and we’ve tried to make sure they get adequately heard,” Warner exclusively tells Ask a Pol.
Warner also tells Ask a Pol he’s been familiar with Project BLUE BOOK since the age of 14.
Matt Laslo also keeps Warner On-the-Record when that’s the last thing the Intel Chair wants.
“I am—are we On or Off?” Warner asks.
Meaning On or Off the record.
ML: “Always On.”
MW: “Pardon?”
ML: “I said, ‘Always On.’”
I laugh.
ML: “We can go off if you want, but that’s boring...”

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s interview with Senate Intelligence Committee Chair Mark Warner, slightly edited for clarity.
Matt Laslo: “Senator Warner.”
Warner smiles but does not seem joyous.
ML: “Do you know how negotiations are going on NDAA?”
Mark Warner: “On which piece? NDAA overall?”
ML: “Yeah. Well, have they even started? Weren’t they kind of put in limbo?”
MW: “I don't know. I just…”
ML: “Yeah?”
MW: “I'm looking obviously for something different. that similar to or form but yeah, so what I have not—I do not know the current state of play.”
ML: “But then there are also some of those UAP provisions. Remember, Schumer had the UAP provision? With Gillibrand and Rubio?”
MW: “I am—are we On or Off?”
Meaning On or Off the record.
ML: “Always On.”
MW: “Pardon?”
ML: “I said, ‘Always On.’”
I laugh.
ML: “We can go off if you want, but that’s boring.”
