On Wednesday morning Congressional UAP Caucus co-chairs Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) and Tim Burchett (R-TN) met along with caucus member Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) to discuss how to best advance their ongoing investigation.
After two classified SCIF briefings exploring the allegations made by UFO whistleblower David Grusch that frustrated members of the UAP Caucus, Luna says the trio decided it’s time to take their investigation on the road and hold a field hearing next.
“I feel like we can get more done that way, and we can kind of direct it and be more aggressive,” Luna exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “It's been incredibly frustrating. But the good news is that you guys know that we're not full of crap, because everyone's getting the same message. And it's like, as a general consensus with the amount of pushback that we're getting, I think it's like the bipartisan caucus is like, ‘what the heck is going on?”
Stay tuned for more details on a date and location for the upcoming UAP field hearing.
Luna also agreed to join Matt Laslo for this month’s Live Listening with Lawmakers. More details to come about this subscriber’s only live QandA.

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol’s exclusive interview with Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), slightly edited for clarity.
TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
SCENE: Laslo’s just switched from his mini-microphone to his iphone after franticly trying to figure out why his mic was off for the first :30 seconds of the interview (turns out the card in his recorder accidentally locked). Hence redundant questions…
Matt Laslo: “Why do a field hearing off campus?”
Anna Paulina Luna: “Because I feel like we can get more done that way, and we can kind of direct it and be more aggressive.”
ML: “I mean, because right now it's just like they've been trying to solve every which way?”
APL: “Correct. Correct. It's been incredibly frustrating. But the good news is that you guys know that we're not full of crap, because everyone's getting the same message. And it's like, as a general consensus with the amount of pushback that we're getting, I think it's like the bipartisan caucus is like, ‘what the heck is going on?”
We enter a crowded elevator with her colleagues who are also heading to vote on the House floor.
ML: “Yeah. And what do you hope to get out a field hearing?”
APL: “I think the more information we can get out there I think is incredibly important and then also locations and stuff. Just following up on some things.”
