This is wild. We need to know if Kirkpatrick is still a paid contractor speaking for the DOD. They are clearly running a PR campaign to float the conspiracy theory that congress is complicit or unwittingly being defrauded by private and public “true believers”. It’s an outrageous claim and if it is shown Kirkpatrick speaks for the DOD they are openly undermining democracy.
The amount of main stream coverage he’s getting right now is insane and none of it pushes back on his claims which are vague generalizations, innuendo, and unsubstantiated conspiracy theory (While he’s screaming SCIENCE!). I can’t think of any other motives than this is a PR campaign as result of the NDAA fight to kill the momentum in congress or cover his own ass for doing a terrible job.
Gillibrand was a vocal supporter of Kirkpatrick. He’s now essentially calling members of congress curious about this topic stupid religious zealots, maybe even corrupt.
“Some members of Congress prefer to opine about aliens to the press rather than get an evidence-based briefing on the matter. Members have a responsibility to exhibit critical-thinking skills instead of seeking the spotlight.” - Kirkpatrick
I'm so confused by this lady. She was initially super involved by helping stand up AARO and seemed genuinely interested in the truth. She's since made comments defending Kirkpatrick (after he's been caught in categorical lies and double-speak publicly) and seems to throw up roadblocks every time an alternate path to the truth is offered up (Grusch). Just don't know what to make of it.
The most ardent tinfoil hat in me thinks she's been effectively threatened to back off the subject publicly. Otherwise, I would say it's possible she lost interest in the subject, but her schedule clearly says otherwise so I don't think that's the case.
Question for Gillibrand “How is she ensuring the next director of AARO is committed to analyzing 100% of the data. The previous director admitted to being “Volun-told to take the job” and focused on “90%” or “9 of 10” cases and ignoring data that doesn’t conform to his personal bias. How do we not repeat that mistake again and waste time and money?”
Did you see my comment in the message thread? Dr Kirkpatrick basically said she and other congressman have been misled by a faction of UFO believers. I wonder what she thinks about that comment.
She is playing so coy with this, really interesting.
Super curious what’s going on
Hot potato Hot potato… I got my 🍿
No words -- gonna order fries though! 😂 glad we had this talk

Oof. That’s a great question! 🙏

My heads 🤯 circling the moon, if ya need me
Somethings changed with Gillibrand. Which one did she learn something disturbing or is it just that the AARO project failed miserably? Idk.
ha New Gillibrand coming too (sorta let down...)
