Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) seems to be the most pro-disclosure member of the US Senate.
“I absolutely support the releasing all of the possibility and any kinds of information on UFOs. I believe in that,” Fetterman — who continues recovering from a stroke that’s impacted his speaking — exclusively told Ask a Pol.
LISTEN: Laslo & Fetterman
Thing is, Fetterman doesn’t serve on any of the main committees of jurisdiction. Still, he’s a strong proponent of ending the federal government’s decades'-long veil of secrecy around the issue.
“We need to all know exactly what is going on out there,” Fetterman continued. “The fact that we're even still arguing about it is astonishing to me. This has been the largest discovery now and maybe perhaps ever. So I just feel we, and the American people deserve to know the truth on that. And I don't want to sound like crazy, you know, X Files’ Mulder. I'm not trying to sound like Mulder, but I am absolutely and strongly in support of that.”
As for disclosure?
“I absolutely support, again, for that full, absolute… [release/disclosure],” Fetterman told Ask a Pol. “America is an adult that they deserve to know the truth about all of it.”

TRANSCRIPT: Sen. Fetterman (7-20-2023)
Matt Laslo: “Curious, if you all are — I used to be the correspondent for WHYY in Philly — I’m curious if you’ve looked into the UAP or UFO whistleblower, David Grusch at all? Has he been on your radar? No?”
John Fetterman: “I'm sorry, I can’t [motions to his ears]. Can we go to a more quiet place?”
ML: “Totally. Wanna go over here?”
I take Fetterman to a nook where there’s a freight elevator in the Capitol basement.
JF: “Yeah.”
ML: “There's this new whistleblower talking about UFOs. His name is David Grusch. He'll be testifying in the House next week. The Senate Intelligence Committee’s looking into it. Has he come on your radar or no?”
JF: “I absolutely support the releasing all of the possibility and any kinds of information on UFOs. I believe in that. So if there's going to be an opportunity to vote to support that I'm going to vote absolutely in the affirmative.”
ML: “I’ll be watching. It’s interesting. I’ve been here 17 years. First time I'm talking about a UFOs.”
JF: “I just feel like there's a critical mass of, we need to all know exactly what is going on out there. And the fact that we're even still arguing about it is astonishing to me.
ML: “It was interesting. Rubio, when he told me, he's like, ‘we, on Intelligence, get a lot of whistleblowers’ and he said, ‘this is the first one that was vetted by the Inspector General and then sent to Congress.”
His fellow Pennsylvanian, Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) walks by.
JF: “Bob Casey woo-hoo!”
Laughs.
JF: “I would say, Sen. Rubio, given his appointment, has better access than I do as a new senator, but I absolutely support, again, for that full absolute… [release/disclosure]. America is an adult that they deserve to know the truth about all of it.”
ML: “He may have seniority, but you have better ink than him.”
I say flashing my tat while complimenting his ink.
Fetterman Aide: “Thank you, Matt.”
ML: “Have a good one, y'all.”
JF: “That was enjoyable.”
