WASHINGTON — Even with UFOs being treated as a priority for the House Oversight Committee, Senate Intelligence Committee, NASA and the Pentagon, UAPs—or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena—aren’t being discussed in the House Intelligence Committee, according to the top Democrat on the committee.
“No discussion at all,” Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) exclusively tells Ask a Pol.
This was the first time we’ve spoken to Himes since our exclusive at end of June where Himes voiced skepticism of UFO whistleblower David Grusch.
Himes is skeptical of Grusch, he told us, because he was a part of the House UFO hearing two years ago and was “assured”—by Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray and Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security Ronald S. Moultrie—the federal government has never recovered organic or inorganic UAP matter.
“I was assured by all of the various units that there was no material,” Himes told Ask a Pol over the summer. “No organic or inorganic material that they were hiding or anything else, so I’m skeptical.”
