Who?
UAP Caucus Co-chairs Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) & Tim Burchett (R-TN)
LISTEN: Laslo, Luna & Burchett
Ask a Pol asks:
Is the next UAP hearing going to be after August’s congressional recess?
Key Luna:
“Yeah, it’s likely. Cause we just need a couple of months to prepare for it,” Rep. Luna exclusively tells Ask a Pol. “So actually Tim had mentioned this last week, and as our chairman of our UAP Caucus, he's going to be working on, I think, helping to facilitate the next hearing which, again, will be I think will be on USOs / UAPs.”
Senate sniping
“I've been very frustrated, because I feel like — especially with the work that we've done — we really haven't had a lot of conversations with the Senate and we're completely open to that,” Luna tells us.
Follow-up: Energy Secretary in hot UFO seat
Did your questioning of the Secretary of Energy change the direction of where you want to go with the investigation?
“No, but you can see, she actually completely disrespected Burchett. Like, lied, like, ‘Oh, we don't have any records of that.’ When clearly I literally had documentation,” Luna says. “They try to pooh-pooh a lot of stuff, and it’s terrible.”
ICYMI —
What do you think was the importance of that exchange? (SUBSCRIBER QUESTION!)
“Well I think it just goes to show that once she’s in an appointed position and she clearly either a) doesn't know what she's talking about or b) she’s intentionally trying to cover something up,” Luna tells us.
Key Burchett:
“Hey! Luna doesn’t like Palestine!” Burchett yells to pro-Palestine protestors who were yelling at a member of Congress across the street.

TRANSCRIPT: Reps. Anna Paulina Luna & Tim Burchett
SCENE: After voting on the House floor, the two co-chairs of the Congressional UAP Caucus walk back to their offices across the street from the US Capitol when Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo — and, eventually, some pro-Palestine protestors — catches up with them.
Matt Laslo: “Hey, you guys got any update?”
Tim Burchett: “Say what?”
ML: “You got any update? [Sen. Kristen] Gillibrand says she's gonna have a Senate UAP hearing — either, she's hoping July maybe..”
ICYMI: Ask a Pol’s SCOOP of 2024 Senate UAP hearing
Anna Paulina Luna: “I will say this, I've been very frustrated, because I feel like — especially with the work that we've done — we really haven't had a lot of conversations with the Senate and we're completely open to that. You guys know that. So actually Tim had mentioned this last week, and as our chairman of our UAP Caucus, he's going to be working on, I think, helping to facilitate the next hearing which, again, will be I think will be on USOs / UAPs.”
ML: “Yeah? And your questioning of Secretary of Energy didn't change the direction of where you want to go with the investigation?”
